This easy to install kit converts a vendor originally configured for a dumb Mech (12pin or 15 pin - 24v or 115v) to the MDB interface. All required hardware is included.

This kit will update an American Changer dollar bill changer that currently utilizes a single Universal board and a single CC talk hopper. A Universal board will have a small 2-line LCD display. A CC talk hopper will have 6 wires in the harness. Once updated, the dollar bill changer will offer a bill recycling feature. It can be programmed to accept $1 - $20 and return $5 bills or $10 bills as change.

This kit includes a refurbished Mars/MEI Series 2700 validator with recycler and a control board that will properly communicate with the recycler. The existing CC talk hopper remians in the changer so it must be working.

There are 2 options. The first option is for bill changers with a standard opening for a validator (4 1/4” x 3 5/16”). Bill changer models with a standard opening include the AC1000 and AC 2001. The second option is for a narrow opening (3” x 1 3/4”). Bill changer models with a narrow opening include the AC1005, AC2001, and AC6003.
