What if all desired bill denominations are not accepted by a bill acceptor?

First, review the owner’s manual for the exact validator model and the host machine.

If the bill acceptor utilizes dip switches for setting which bill denominations are accepted, verify the dip switches are set correctly.

If the bill acceptor utilizes a coupon for setting which bill denominations are accepted, reprogram it using a properly marked coupon. Coupons can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website.

If the host machine utilizes the MDB interface, verify it is programmed properly.

If you do not know the history of the software updates of the bill acceptor or the denomination of the bill that is not being accepted because it has been newly released, the bill acceptor may need to be updated by a service center. If you have Capital Vending repair your validators, there will be a label on the unit displaying the software denominations updates.
