The Coffee Inn power supplies typically last 5 years and then need to be rebuilt or replaced. The supply is located on the rear of the payout assembly under a cover.

When the power supply begins to fail, the bill acceptor will have a hard time pulling in the bill. /you will sometimes hear clicking. If the supply completely fails, the bill acceptor will not even try to pull in the bill.

To verify this part is failing, use a clamp meter and test validator when under load. A JCM acceptor requires at least 1 amp. See owner’s manual for your model.
