Received the board and installed it in our BC3500, and it programmed as it should, and it worked with the kit. The board was wired so that it would ID as a BC3500 when installed in any Rowe cabinet. We suspect a harness issue in your cabinet. The battery was acceptable but old and a bit low, so it was changed while working on the board. 

Labor rate $129.99 per hour at 45 minutes minimum = $97.49

Replacement battery   $11.50 with tax
