Cigarette Machine Pricing Update Kit For Validator

This pricing update board is designed for cigarette machines that use a single price changer attached to a Mars Series 2000 validator and allows pricing up to $25.00 per pack.  When installed, no coins are accepted, and change can not be returned. 

The interface board outputs a single pulse after receiving 10-25 input pulses from a 120V validator. The board has a yellow program chip, and dips 6 and 8 must be on. At power-up, the green LED will blink 4 times.

With dip switches 1-4 off, after 10 pulses are received, a single pulse is sent to the host. To increase the number of pulses, turn switches 1-4 on and add the pulse values together. Power must be off when changing switches.

#1 on adds 1 pulse 

#2 on adds 2 pulses

#3 on adds 4 pulses  

#4 on adds 8 pulses

If #1 and #2 on 13 pulses are required for a vend, the cost is $13.00

If this board is installed in a machine that has a display, it is recommended that the display be hidden, as it may confuse customers. It will not increment when each bill is accepted.

When installing in a cigarette machine with a single price coin changer, set the vend price to $1.00 = price dip switches 2 (.20) and 4 (.80) on. The vend price (dollar increments only) is now set using the dip switches on the board.

This kit is intended for installation by a trained service professional.

If this board is attached to a Mars validator with a harness from a TC6800H changer, the harness is not the type designed for a soda vending machine with an escrow feature. If you have this version of the harness, it must be replaced with a non-escrow version, as the kit will not function otherwise. This harness can be found here.
