This is a Mars MEI validator that operates on 12VDC. Typically installed in amusement equipment. Supplied with a 300-note box and power harness. These are popular with Stern and Jersey jack pinball machines. When installed in a Stern, it connects to a white 9-pin harness (3 x 3) with wires in positions 5, 7, 8, and 9.  The mating machine hanress connects to header CN9 on both Spike and Spike 2 machines.
