We offer three versions of kits to install a card NFC reader in a working cigarette vending machine. The second version of this kit is for a machine with an existing validator and when the owner wants to accept cash as well a card payment. The limitations of this kit are that the vend price cannot exceed the current capabilities, the vend price must be in dollar increments, no coins can be accepted, and no change returned. The typical pricing limitations of various models are Revenco at $7.75, Mars TRC6800 changer at $9.95, Coinco 9300 changer at $12.60, Cointron changer at $12.75, Ball Mate Two at $12.60, and Lutech Currency Partner at $12.60.

The options in this listing are for working cigarette machines with a bill validator. When the kit is installed, a card/NFC reader and the existing validator can be utilized for purchases. The harness on the kit has a Y splice adapter so it connects to the harness that originally attached to the validator. The kit for the Bill Mate includes a mounting plate that fits on the upper window of the Bill Mate.

The installation instructions include information on programming a card reader’s pulse interface attributes but needs to be customized based upon your desired payout. If the installer is not familiar with programming the attributes, we offer this service.

Option 4 - If your machine is fitted with a 120V Mars validator (typically Lutech Currency Partner, Revenco, and AP Smoke Shop), the kit part number is CC-CIGMARS120V-CASHCANTALOUPE-2

If the person installing is familiar with setting up the attributes for the card reader, you will not need the “Assist Service.” If the installer is not familiar programming the attributes, our “Assist Service” option is recommended.
