Hire a Technician

The Hire a Technician service is offered on Fridays.  Our goals is to assist operators that have a technician that is currently unable to assist with repairs or locating parts.

This service is offered if all other avenues to fix the machine/locate parts have been exhausted as we have limited resources.  It is always recommended you contact the manufacturer of the machine or distributor that sold the machine to start the repair process. In some cases the manufacturer or distributor that sold you the machine may provide the information you need at no cost.

The below quotes offer an idea of the cost for the services.   Before paying for the service arrangement please email with a detailed description of the help needed. In most cases you will need to provide several pictures of your machine.  If you were advised to select one of the options based upon information already provided then it is okay to check out.  We will contact you by email Friday morning to assist with your project

In the event the service requested is not possible (assumes customer has provided all required information in a timely manner) you will receive a full refund.

  • We will recommend the parts required to update a machine to MDB that was not purchased from Capital Vending so a credit card reader can be installed.

    Based upon working with previous technicians, we are not able to help with these machine models: Selectivend machines with a MCB-12 board, RC800, Genesis, Rowe 6800 or Rowe 7800.

    Once you have paid for the service, a document will be emailed to you. Please complete this form and email the information and pictures back to us as soon as possible.   • We will recommend the parts needed to update an older machine so you can install a bill validator in a machine that was not purchased from Capital Vending.

    Once you have added the service to your cart and checked out, a document will be emailed to you. Please complete this form and email the information and pictures back to us as soon as possible. Instructions for completing the form are provided in the document. If we do not receive the information/pictures by Thursday evening, the order will not be finished until the following Friday.

  • We will help identify a machine or locate an obsolete manual for it. We will send a .pdf to your email address. If you do not know the model of your machine that was built within the last 30 years, we may be able to ID the machine based upon pictures you provide. This service may take up to a week if scanning is involved.

    Once you have paid for the service, a document will be emailed to you. Please complete this form and email the information and pictures back to us as soon as possible. Instructions for completing the form are provided in the document. If we do not receive the information/pictures by Thursday evening, the order will not be finished until the following Friday.

  • We will recommend a replacement validator for your vending machine, based upon photos provided.

  • We will locate a supplier for an obselete/hard to find electronic item.

  • This sale is for the labor cost of hiring a Capital Vending technician to program your telemeter.

    In the event we have existing work that is keeping us busy, this will show as being sold out. Once we have done the other work for our customers, it will be available to purchase again.

    Some technicians work after hours and may be available to help with setting up your telemeter for your specific needs.

    They will need access to your account to set it up. They will use a temporary password for the setup.

    Once you have paid for the service, a document will immediately be emailed to you. Please fill in all the blanks and email it back.

  • This sale is for the labor cost of hiring a technician to estimate the cost of repairs due to a break in. This may be acceptable for an insurance claim by a company.

    Once you have paid for the service, we will send you an email with instructions. You are responsible for showing pictures that show all of the damage.

    Once the pictures are received, it typically takes us 2-3 business days to prepare an estimate. The estimate will include parts and labor costs.

    In the event you choose to have Capital Vending perform the work or purchase a replacement machine from Capital Vending, the amount paid for the estimate will be refunded back to you.

    The cost is $89.99 per machine requiring a quote.
